Financial Controller (Remote, Full-Time)

About the role

We are a fast‑growing U.S. company seeking a hands‑on Financial Controller to own accounting, reporting, and finance operations. The role is fully remote and works primarily during U.S. business hours, providing strategic insight and operational excellence across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable accounting systems, processes, and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and relevant financial regulations.
• Own the general ledger, chart of accounts, and overall data integrity.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Build and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models; conduct ad‑hoc analysis of key drivers such as CAC, labor costs, and margins.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, billing, collections, payroll, and the monthly close process.
• Drive cash‑flow management, forecasting, and reporting.
• Collaborate with leadership and department heads to align financial strategy with operational goals.
• Evaluate, implement, and optimize financial tools; lead process improvements and dashboard creation.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading accounting and finance functions in a growth‑stage company.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Demonstrated ability to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
