Financial Adviser – Firebird Group (WC)

About the role

Sanlam Life Ltd is seeking a Financial Adviser to join the Firebird Group in the Western Cape. The role focuses on delivering professional financial advice, planning and product solutions to both new and existing clients, while building long‑term relationships that reinforce the Sanlam brand.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tailored financial advice, conduct comprehensive fact‑finding and present suitable financial solutions to clients.
• Generate and grow a sustainable client portfolio through networking, prospecting, and lead generation activities.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, including FAIS “Fit and Proper” standards and Treating Customers Fairly principles.
• Monitor client activity, update records, and report on contacts, appointments, and revenue against targets.
• Deliver high‑quality client service, ensuring ethical and courteous interactions that foster loyalty.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification and successful completion of the FAIS regulatory examination (registered with FSCA for >24 months).
• Strong knowledge of financial advice, planning, and risk management, with a focus on client relationship management.
• Effective communication, persuasive abilities, and a results‑driven mindset.
• Commitment to continuous learning and adherence to ethical standards.
