Field Technician

About the role

Deposita SA, a leading cash‑management provider, is looking for a Field Technician to join its Operations team in Welkom, Free State. You will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining Automated Banking Machines (ABMs) and docking stations, ensuring high‑quality service for our banking and retail clients.

Key responsibilities

• Install, de‑install and maintain ABMs and docking stations at client sites.
• Provide on‑site training to customers on new ABM equipment.
• Perform monthly maintenance and corrective repairs in line with SLA agreements (target 98% compliance).
• Collect faulty cash canisters for repair and manage equipment issued by the business.
• Log all service calls accurately in the Journey system for billing and reporting.
• Respond to technical call‑outs within agreed SLA timeframes, including extended hours when required.
• Participate in health and safety programmes, attend safety meetings and report incidents.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Proven ability to work independently and deliver results.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and adherence to company policies.
