Field Service Technician – Onsite Position

About the role

Komatsu, a global leader in heavy equipment for construction, mining and forestry, is seeking an onsite Field Service Technician to join its team in eMalahleni, Mpumalanga. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality service and support for Komatsu equipment at customer sites, ensuring operational reliability and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of Komatsu machinery on customer premises.
• Diagnose equipment issues, troubleshoot faults, and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Maintain accurate service records and complete required documentation.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide technical guidance.
• Adhere to safety standards and contribute to continuous improvement of service processes.
