Operator (Load Haul Dumper)

About the role

The Load Haul Dumper (LHD) Operator is responsible for safely transporting materials and equipment within a mining environment and supporting underground belt construction activities. You will work on a trackless mobile machine, ensuring it remains in optimal condition while meeting production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the assigned LHD machine in good working order and perform routine checks.
• Follow sustainable development standards and trackless mobile machinery procedures.
• Complete transport tasks within specified timeframes to support production goals and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Communicate daily to coordinate material movement according to mine procedures.
• Provide underground equipment transport for belt construction projects.

Required profile

• Valid LHD (Load Haul Dump) licence.
• Competent B Certificate.
• Valid Dover competency certification.
• Medically fit to work underground and on shift patterns.
• Good knowledge of the HSEC (Health, Safety, Environment, Community) system.
