Expert Engineer I – Industrial Services & Cybersecurity

About the role

TÜV Rheinland is seeking an Expert Engineer I to support its Industrial Services & Cybersecurity unit. The role focuses on assessing construction quality, evaluating plant conditions, and ensuring functional safety in highly interconnected industrial environments.

Key responsibilities

• Assess construction quality and perform condition assessments of buildings, plants, and engineering structures such as bridges, masts, and towers.
• Evaluate structural fire protection concepts and manage fire‑protection aspects of construction projects.
• Support customers on‑site with technical issues related to new and existing facilities.
• Conduct order clarification discussions, develop project concepts, and oversee their implementation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of industrial safety and cybersecurity.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional experience in a related engineering field.
• Proven ability to assess construction quality and structural stability.
• Experience interacting with customers and managing project concepts.
