Evaluation Technician

About the role

We are seeking an Evaluation Technician to join the Manufacturing and Product Engineering Department at ISUZU Motors South Africa. The role focuses on inspecting vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components, diagnosing faults, and assessing electronic systems to support repairs, maintenance and upgrades.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle engines and related mechanical components for wear, damage and compliance.
• Diagnose electrical faults and evaluate vehicle computer and electronic systems.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on vehicles and components.
• Conduct specialised testing to verify performance and reliability.
• Document findings and provide recommendations to improve vehicle performance.

Required profile

• Meets the specific criteria set by ISUZU Motors South Africa.
• Qualified according to the ISUZU Employment Equity Plan.
