About the role
The Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary provides direct and indirect nursing care to patients on the Paediatric Ward, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and adhering to hospital standards and policies.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver direct and indirect nursing care to individual patients or groups.
- Assess patient needs and develop, implement, and evaluate appropriate care programmes.
- Ensure delivery of high‑quality care and report any identified risks.
- Maintain and control stock levels for the ward.
Required profile
- Registered with the South African Nursing Council as an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary.
- Approximately 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Compliance with the SANC code and relevant health legislation.
- Theatre experience is essential.
- Ability to implement and maintain accredited health practice standards.
Required skills
- Computer literacy.
- Fluent communication in English.
