Electrical Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead and coordinate all electrical activities across our projects. The role ensures safe, on‑time delivery while meeting quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project schedules, labour plans, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate electrical work on‑site, aligning activities with other departments and contractors.
• Oversee multiple electrical projects, prioritising tasks based on urgency and impact.
• Liaise with clients to provide progress updates, resolve concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
• Procure materials, components, tooling, and consumables for manufacturing and installation.
• Monitor labour hours, overtime, and productivity to control costs.
• Supervise and guide electrical manufacturing, installation, and commissioning teams.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and standards.
• Maintain health, safety, housekeeping, and environmental compliance at all times.
• Provide progress reports to the Electrical Contracts Manager and identify process‑improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) or National Technical Certificate (N3).
• Relevant electrical trade qualification (Trade Test) and a valid Wireman’s License (Installation or Master Electrician).
• Proven experience in industrial contracting, preferably within the automotive, automation, or manufacturing sectors.
• Valid Code 08 driver’s licence, reliable transport, and willingness to travel for extended periods.
