Project Manager

About the role

The Project Manager will lead industrial projects from initiation through to successful completion. You will be responsible for controlling quality, finances, timelines and scope while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee project lifecycle from planning to hand‑over.
• Monitor and control project budgets, schedules and deliverables.
• Ensure projects meet required quality, safety and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage resources effectively.
• Handle contract administration, including FIDIC, JBCC, GCC or NEC frameworks.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) and a N Diploma or B Degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
• Additional N Diploma or B Degree in Project Management is an advantage.
• Project Management accreditation (SACPCMP and/or PMP) preferred.
• ECSA candidate or professional status is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years experience in project engineering or management on industrial projects.
• 3‑5 years experience in plant maintenance, installations, design, electrical & project engineering (CAD).
• 3‑5 years experience with FIDIC, JBCC, GCC or NEC contract management.
• At least 3 years supervising or managing a team.
