About the role

Liberty is seeking a Digital Marketing Platform Specialist in Johannesburg to design, implement and oversee sophisticated digital marketing strategies that boost brand presence and product promotion across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative digital marketing strategies aligned with Liberty’s brand and business objectives.
• Manage and optimise digital marketing platforms to maximise reach and impact.
• Create targeted advertising campaigns for specific customer segments.
• Implement personalisation techniques to deliver tailored user experiences.
• Drive initiatives that increase interactivity and engagement with the brand.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a cohesive digital presence.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging digital marketing trends and technologies.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in programme management, digital transformation, web platform delivery or platform migration.
• Proven success managing large‑scale website migrations or digital platform transformation programmes.
• Experience leading migration and consolidation of multiple websites onto a centralised platform.
• Strong background with Content Management Systems and governance frameworks.
• Ability to manage stakeholder groups within complex organisational structures.
• Relevant first degree in Commerce or Marketing.

• Content Management Systems (CMS) governance, toolkits, standards and guardrails.
• Lift‑and‑shift platform migration project management, including risk, budget and executive reporting.
• Digital analytics and reporting.
