Cyber Security Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a highly technical Senior Cyber Security Specialist to lead security operations in our AWS cloud‑native environment. You will own vulnerability management, conduct penetration testing, and build practical security controls across infrastructure and applications.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full vulnerability management lifecycle for cloud platforms, containers, and applications.
• Perform continuous vulnerability assessments, prioritize findings, and drive remediation.
• Conduct hands‑on penetration testing of AWS services, APIs, web applications, and internal systems.
• Engineer security controls for AWS services such as EC2, IAM, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, VPC, ECS/EKS, and CloudFront.
• Integrate security scanning and automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and IaC workflows.
• Perform threat hunting, incident investigation, and forensic analysis using cloud‑native logs and telemetry.
• Develop scripts and automation to reduce manual effort and embed security into DevOps processes.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in cloud security, preferably with AWS.
• Strong offensive‑security mindset with hands‑on penetration testing experience.
• Proven ability to work closely with DevOps and engineering teams to embed security.
• Experience designing and automating vulnerability reporting and remediation workflows.
