Remote Systems Analyst (L2)

About the role

FusionTek is seeking a Remote Systems Analyst (L2) to provide high‑quality technical assistance to its small‑ and mid‑size business clients. The role focuses on escalated desktop support, server administration, networking and security tasks, all delivered remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage escalated support tickets, including break/fix, application setup and user configurations.
• Administer Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 environments and maintain Hyper‑V hosts.
• Configure and troubleshoot SonicWall firewalls, Datto networking switches and access points.
• Support Office 365 and other cloud services for end‑users.
• Document incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system and internal knowledge base.
• Collaborate with the technical team to improve infrastructure and service delivery.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of IT support experience in an MSP or fast‑paced environment.
• CompTIA A+ and/or Network+ certification (or willingness to obtain after hire).
• MD‑102 (Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) preferred.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Windows 10/11 and macOS desktop support.
• Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022 administration.
• Hyper‑V virtualization.
• SonicWall firewall configuration.
• Datto networking switches and access points.
• Office 365 cloud services.
• CompTIA A+ and Network+ knowledge.
• MD‑102 certification (preferred).
