About the role
Maersk South Africa is looking for a motivated Customer Experience Consultant to join the ICX LFT (Lifestyle, Technology & FMCG) team in Durban. You will work in a diverse, international environment, supporting small to mid‑sized customers throughout the end‑to‑end shipment lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the complete shipment process for Essential Services customers, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
- Resolve customer issues promptly by coordinating with internal stakeholders.
- Maintain a portfolio of customers, monitor financial status, and deepen business knowledge.
- Respond to daily emails and calls, delivering high‑quality customer service.
- Coordinate ocean shipments and related logistics activities.
- Build strong relationships with all stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
- Demonstrate problem‑solving, critical thinking, and effective communication.
Required profile
- At least 2 years of experience in customer service and logistics.
- Customer‑centric mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working with multiple logistics or enterprise systems.
