Country Manager / Sales Director

About the role

We are looking for a high‑calibre Country Manager / Sales Director to lead our client’s compressor business in South Africa and key international markets. The role combines strategic planning with hands‑on oversight of sales, marketing, finance and supply‑chain functions to drive growth and market share.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives in the South African compressor market.
• Oversee all local operations, including sales, marketing, finance and supply‑chain, ensuring seamless delivery.
• Identify emerging market trends and diversify revenue streams.
• Lead, mentor and empower a high‑performing team, fostering accountability and alignment with global goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, strategic partners and industry bodies.
• Monitor competitive landscape and industry shifts to maintain a proactive market position.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of senior management experience with a proven track record of business growth and market expansion.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
• Technical credibility in industrial technology, preferably compressor technology.
• Robust financial acumen and excellent communication in English.
• Strategic planning ability and hands‑on execution of complex goals.
