About the role
We are seeking a full‑time Construction Contracts Manager to join our team in Gqeberha. The role focuses on overseeing all construction contracts to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Vet and review construction contracts before execution.
- Track project progress against contractual milestones.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and government agencies.
- Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Resolve disputes and manage contract variations.
- Maintain accurate contract documentation and records.
Required profile
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, project management principles, and legal compliance.
- Proficiency in contract negotiation, document management, and conflict resolution.
- Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and cost analysis for construction projects.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
- Technical knowledge of civil works, property development frameworks, and infrastructure maintenance processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
- Professional registration with ECSA as Pr. Eng, Pr. Tech Eng, or SACPCMP Pr. CM/CPM.
- Previous experience in a similar construction‑engineering role.
