Clinical Trainer – Energy‑Based Aesthetic Devices

About the role

One of South Africa’s leading medical aesthetic companies is seeking an experienced Clinical Trainer to deliver theory and practical training on laser and energy‑based aesthetic devices. The role involves national and international travel and requires a hands‑on approach in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Compile and develop clinical training material for presentations and workshops.
• Deliver theory and practical training courses to new and existing users, both online and in‑person.
• Attend trade shows, congresses and other clinical platforms to represent the company.
• Demonstrate devices to potential clients and support the sales team as needed.
• Examine users according to supplier criteria and ensure compliance with ISO 13485 standards.
• Organise and conduct clinical workshops across South Africa and abroad.

Required profile

• 3‑ or 4‑year Somatology or medical degree/diploma.
• Minimum three years’ experience operating laser and allied aesthetic devices.
• Experience in training, teaching or product transfer within the medical/aesthetic sector is advantageous.
• Residency in Johannesburg and reliable vehicle for travel.
• Strong PC literacy and ability to create and transfer clinical training content.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, with willingness to travel locally and internationally.
