About the role
The Business Development Manager will drive BLS International's expansion into new markets and strengthen relationships with government bodies and embassies. This senior‑level position focuses on identifying high‑value opportunities, negotiating contracts, and delivering revenue growth across targeted regions.
Key responsibilities
- Lead new business development and market expansion initiatives.
- Identify and pursue government tenders, RFPs, and large contracts.
- Build senior‑level relationships with governments, embassies, and strategic partners.
- Own end‑to‑end deal closure, including commercial negotiations.
- Drive revenue targets, pipeline growth, and market entry strategies.
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships with technology providers, system integrators, and local partners.
- Structure joint ventures, consortiums, and subcontracting arrangements where required.
- Manage partner performance and alignment with growth objectives.
- Set targets, monitor pipeline health, and drive performance accountability.
Required profile
- Proven experience securing government tenders, RFPs and large‑scale contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain senior‑level relationships with public sector stakeholders.
- Strong commercial negotiation skills and a track record of closing complex deals.
- Experience developing and executing market entry and revenue growth strategies.
- Ability to structure and manage joint ventures, consortiums, and subcontracting models.
- Results‑oriented mindset with a focus on pipeline health and target achievement.
