About the role

We are looking for a driven Business Development Manager to lead our Data Solutions portfolio in Johannesburg. The role offers uncapped earning potential within a technology‑led company that provides data management services.

Key responsibilities

Own the Johannesburg market, generating new business through prospecting, cold‑calling, networking and partner engagement.
Identify and qualify opportunities, deliver presentations, prepare proposals and close deals, managing the full sales cycle.
Strengthen existing client relationships, uncover upselling opportunities and keep an accurate, active sales pipeline.

Required profile

Matric qualification; NQF 5 or higher is advantageous.
2–10 years of business development or account‑management experience, preferably in a distribution or partner‑channel environment.
Proven track record of achieving new‑business sales targets.
Valid driver’s licence, reliable transport and stable home internet.

Required skills

Experience with data storage, cloud, connectivity or backup technologies.
CRM experience, ideally with Zoho.
