Business Analyst – Data & Process Improvement

About the role

This is an in‑office Business Analyst position based in Paarden Eiland, Cape Town. The role sits within Operations, Technology and Business Enablement and reports to the Head of Operations. You will analyse processes, systems and data to drive efficiency, support strategic decisions and enable digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business processes, identify inefficiencies and develop process maps, SOPs and improvement recommendations.
• Gather and document business requirements through workshops, interviews and discovery sessions, producing BRDs, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collect, clean and interpret data from multiple systems, develop forecasts, identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Design, build and maintain reports, dashboards and scorecards using Power BI and other BI tools, tracking KPIs such as CSAT, churn, revenue and operational efficiency.
• Evaluate existing systems, recommend automation opportunities and support system implementations, testing and UAT.
• Support cross‑functional projects from planning through post‑implementation review, ensuring stakeholder alignment and successful delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Analysis, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Commerce or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Business Intelligence or Process Improvement.
• Proven ability to analyse complex datasets, document requirements and develop performance dashboards.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
