Branch Consultant / Financial Advisor (Parys)

About the role

As a Branch Consultant/Financial Advisor you will promote Sanlam Retail Mass (SRM) products, provide sound financial advice and deliver a high level of client service within a branch environment. The aim is to increase market share by creating cross‑selling opportunities and ensuring client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tailored financial advice and high‑quality service to branch clients, supporting product optimisation and cross‑selling.
• Maintain deep knowledge of SRM product ranges and keep clients informed of new or updated offerings.
• Conduct due‑diligence, validate client details, submit new business and manage risk identification.
• Prioritise daily appointments while handling walk‑in clients, and manage client portfolios to ensure persistency and timely payments.
• Service client profiles, send payment reminders, resolve queries, and process policy cancellations or alternatives.
• Adhere to compliance, quality standards, and maintain accurate records of advice and activities.
• Report daily activities using branch technology platforms and meet weekly/monthly reporting deadlines.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in sales or marketing, preferably within an insurance branch.
• Matric (Grade 12) qualification; RE5 qualification advantageous.
• FAIS compliance (Wealth Management) as required by DOFA.
• Ability to work independently, meet targets and deliver excellent client service.
