Assistant Manager HR – EM South

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Assistant Manager HR to partner with our Back‑office teams in the EM South region. The role combines strategic HR partnership with hands‑on execution of talent, performance, learning, DE&I and employee engagement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a strategic HR partner to business leaders, advising on all people‑related matters.
• Lead core HR calendar activities: talent management, performance reviews, L&D, DE&I, rewards and employee engagement.
• Own and drive talent experience moments such as onboarding, off‑boarding and other key employee events.
• Collaborate with Payroll and HR services to ensure accurate employee movements and payroll inputs.
• Maintain HR policies, processes and documentation in line with best practices and compliance.
• Serve as first point of contact for employees and managers, providing timely support.
• Coach managers to improve leadership capability.
• Lead HR reporting and analytics, including headcount, dashboards and ad‑hoc data requests.
• Stay current on HR trends and share insights with the business.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Human Resources or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a strategic Business Partner role.
• Experience in a multinational, cross‑geography or matrix organisation is advantageous.
• Proven ability to manage complex employee‑relations issues independently.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior leadership level.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with HR information systems.
• Understanding of AI and emerging HR technologies.
