About the role

Our client in the engineering sector is seeking three reliable assistants to join a permanent workshop team in Middelburg, South Africa. This urgent vacancy offers an opportunity to work on daily operational tasks within a dynamic engineering environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support workshop activities, including preparation and clean‑up of work areas.
• Assist senior technicians with routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of tasks performed and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and company policies.

Required profile

• South African citizenship or residence in the Middelburg area (preferred).
• Own reliable transport to travel to the workplace.
• Previous experience working in a workshop or similar environment.
• Immediate availability to start.
• No criminal record and medically fit.

Required skills

• Basic workshop handling and tool usage.
