About the role
Our client in the engineering sector is seeking three reliable assistants to join a permanent workshop team in Middelburg, South Africa. This urgent vacancy offers an opportunity to work on daily operational tasks within a dynamic engineering environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support workshop activities, including preparation and clean‑up of work areas.
- Assist senior technicians with routine maintenance and minor repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of tasks performed and materials used.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and company policies.
Required profile
- South African citizenship or residence in the Middelburg area (preferred).
- Own reliable transport to travel to the workplace.
- Previous experience working in a workshop or similar environment.
- Immediate availability to start.
- No criminal record and medically fit.
Required skills
- Basic workshop handling and tool usage.
