Artisan Plumber (Level II)

About the role

The Artisan Plumber (Level II) will interpret and coordinate pre‑work and site requirements for installation, repairs and both planned and predictive maintenance of water systems. The role guides personnel, ensures proper documentation and supports the functionality of water supply components.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and coordinate specific pre‑work/site requirements for installation, repairs, and maintenance sequences, guiding personnel activities.
• Complete internal transactional documentation such as timesheets, log sheets, progress and productivity field reports, and vehicle checklists.
• Coordinate troubleshooting and fault‑finding processes to identify reasons for control valve failures in water supply.
• Coordinate activities and sequences to maintain the functionality of water systems and components.

Required profile

• Trade Tested Artisan (Plumber).
• Basic First Aid and Basic Safety certificate (or to be completed within 6‑12 months of appointment).
• Valid motor vehicle driving licence (Code C1) and Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
• At least 3 years relevant post‑apprenticeship experience (4 years preferred).
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, outside normal hours, shifts, and under unfavourable site conditions.
• Physically fit and able‑bodied.
