Architectural Draughtsperson – Junior or Senior (Cape Town)

About the role

The West Coast Group is seeking a motivated Architectural Draughtsperson to support the design and delivery of its restaurant concepts across South Africa. The role is offered at two levels – Junior and Senior – and will involve creating detailed architectural drawings, preparing technical documentation, and coordinating with project teams on new and refurbishment projects.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate architectural drawings and construction documents using Revit, AutoCAD and Enscape.
• Prepare design‑development, landlord, council and construction‑stage drawings.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, interior designers and contractors to ensure design intent and compliance.
• Support design discussions, coordinate drawing sets and assist with project documentation.
• Maintain compliance with relevant building standards, regulations and project requirements.

Required profile

• Junior: minimum 2 years of architectural drafting experience, preferably in the restaurant sector.
• Senior: minimum 5 years of architectural drafting experience with strong restaurant project exposure.
• For senior level, registration with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP) is required.
• Ability to work under guidance (junior) or independently (senior) in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
