Apprenticeship Programme – Motors Department

About the role

We are looking for energetic and dynamic matriculants who are keen to pursue a career in the motors department. The successful candidate will receive on‑the‑job training through Toyota’s TALA Training Academy, gaining practical experience and new competencies. Upon successful completion of the programme, a certificate indicating the level of achievement will be awarded and registered on the National Qualification Framework (NQF). The apprenticeship is offered on a permanent basis within Toyota Motors in Ficksburg, providing a pathway into the automotive industry for young talent. The programme combines classroom instruction with hands‑on work in vehicle maintenance and repair, allowing apprentices to develop technical expertise while supporting daily operations.

Required profile

• Grade 12 with Afrikaans, English and Mathematics or technical subjects
• N2 qualification in Motors Mechanic
• Valid driver’s licence (advantageous)

Required skills

• Strong communication skills in Afrikaans and English
• Computer literate – proficient with MS Office
• Good numerical ability
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
• Good interpersonal skills
