Admin & Stock Controller

About the role

A well‑established wholesale, retail and distribution business in Cape Town is seeking a reliable, organised Admin & Stock Controller to join its Brackenfell team. The role combines inventory management with general office duties to ensure accurate stock records and smooth administrative processes.

Key responsibilities

• Receiving and checking incoming stock
• Capturing stock accurately on the system
• Stock control, stock counts and regular stocktaking
• Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies
• Processing invoices, orders and delivery notes
• General office and administrative duties
• Assisting with customer and supplier queries
• Keeping stock records and documentation up to date
• Assisting with warehouse organisation and stock movement

Required profile

• School leavers may apply
• Previous experience in stock control and administration
• Good computer skills, especially Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Honest, reliable and responsible
• Previous experience in wholesale, retail or distribution is an advantage
• Reside in Brackenfell/Kuilsriver
