Accounts Receivable Specialist (Hybrid)

About the role

Join a well‑established company based in Centurion. The role offers a lucrative basic salary, benefits and incentives, with a hybrid working model – three days in the office and two days from home.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full collections process for a portfolio of Middle Eastern clients, including private‑sector and government accounts.
• Take ownership of allocated accounts, proactively follow up on outstanding balances and monitor payment commitments.
• Ensure agreed Promises to Pay (PTPs) are met within specified timeframes.
• Follow client‑specific processes, project delivery notes and supporting documentation.
• Investigate and resolve payment disputes efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of account history, outstanding balances and dispute information.
• Liaise closely with the Commercial Team Leader in Dubai and other commercial stakeholders.
• Engage confidently with senior‑level stakeholders, PMOs and Commercial Leads while maintaining a professional collections approach.

Required profile

• Proven experience in collections within a corporate or international environment.
• Strong track record of recovering outstanding debt and managing challenging accounts.
• Experience dealing with commercial and/or government clients is advantageous.
• Excellent dispute‑resolution and problem‑solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and strong follow‑through.
• Confident, assertive communication style with senior stakeholders.
• Organisational and administrative skills; ability to work independently and collaborate with international teams.
• Experience with Middle Eastern clients or Arabic language skills is a plus (translation support available).
