Account Manager – IoT/Network

About the role
The Account Manager will drive revenue growth for IoT and network solutions in Johannesburg by acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts. You will act as a trusted advisor, identifying business needs and delivering tailored, value‑based proposals.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed annual sales targets through proactive prospecting and pipeline management.
- Develop and present financially justified proposals using business cases and financial models.
- Build and maintain relationships with senior decision‑makers across client organisations.
- Collaborate with internal consultants, pricing teams and external service providers to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and report on progress against targets.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and risks.
Required profile
- University degree or college diploma.
- 5–10 years of experience in solution‑selling within a complex sales environment.
- Proven track record of managing, growing and closing large‑scale deals.
- Strong business acumen and ability to develop value‑based proposals.
