Account Manager – Global Logistics

About the role

Expeditors is seeking an experienced Account Manager to own and grow existing customer relationships across its global logistics network. You will act as the primary liaison, ensuring high‑level service while identifying new business opportunities within established accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Strengthen and expand relationships with existing accounts at all organizational levels.
• Understand each customer’s business strategy and align Expeditors’ services accordingly.
• Monitor customer satisfaction, address service issues, and communicate them to relevant departments.
• Identify and develop growth opportunities, supporting business development initiatives.
• Assist with collections, manage client profiles in the CRM, and maintain accurate invoicing processes.
• Prepare territory maps, share weekly schedules, and coordinate joint account visits.
• Transfer major proposals to Sales and operational matters to Operations teams.
• Lead business reviews and continuously seek process improvements for cost‑effective operations.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent business qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within Expeditors or the logistics industry.
• Proven track record in business development and account growth.
• Strong presentation, analytical, problem‑solving and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent communication skills across all management levels.
• Fluent English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using CRM software.
• Familiarity with Expeditors’ EI systems and ability to deliver technical updates.
