Academy Manager – Business Support Centre

About the role

The Academy Manager for the Business Support Centre (BSC) will lead the design, development and delivery of the functional learning academy. Reporting into the BSC leadership, you will shape learning pathways that build employee capabilities and support the bank’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a tiered academy framework covering foundation, intermediate and advanced learning tracks.
• Design and deliver blended learning programmes (online, classroom and experiential) in partnership with subject‑matter experts and external providers.
• Manage academy operations, including budgeting, vendor contracts and quality‑assurance processes.
• Integrate learning initiatives with business strategy by engaging stakeholders and aligning curricula to business needs.
• Lead a team of learning professionals, providing coaching, performance management and career development.

Required profile

• Energetic, self‑motivated individual with a passion for service in the banking sector.
• Proven experience in learning and development, preferably within a corporate or financial services environment.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and vendor relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to innovate, drive results and mentor others.
