About the role

A long-established manufacturer of energy and power products is looking for a hands-on Warehouse Manager for its regional distribution warehouse in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. You will report to the Operations Manager and lead a team of 15 people, including 5 supervisors, keeping stock moving accurately to branches and trade customers.

Key responsibilities

Oversee receiving, storage, picking and dispatch
Keep stock accurate through cycle counts and variance checks
Ensure on-time, in-full regional deliveries
Look after safety and housekeeping on the floor

Required profile

Diploma in Warehouse Management, Distribution or Logistics (NQF 6)
5 years' warehousing experience in manufacturing, including up to 3 years supervising
Experience with automotive or industrial products preferred
Hands-on leadership style, knowing the team by name
Ability to find the root cause when stock goes missing

Required skills

WMS or ERP systems (SAP, Syspro or similar)
Stock control and inventory reporting
MS Excel for KPI reporting
