Senior Full Stack Engineer (Remote)

About the role

A client of Parvana, which develops and supports software and data solutions across many industries, is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer. The client offers plug-and-play products that integrate with existing systems and can be customised, covering big data engineering and bespoke software, cloud-based and hosted. The position is remote, based in South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex system and service-oriented backend design (C#/.NET, Angular/React), choosing tools and frameworks
• Manage database schemas, data models and secure, scalable cloud infrastructure
• Use and review AI coding tools for writing, testing and maintaining code, treating prompt design as a core technical skill
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines with quality gates, automated testing and deployment rollout strategies
• Lead migration of legacy applications to modern technologies and infrastructure
• Define SLOs and SLIs, use distributed tracing and telemetry to diagnose issues, and document system boundaries
• Lead technical discussions, explain trade-offs and work with product teams on delivery phases
• Break down complex problems into well-defined tickets while balancing speed with security and compliance
• Mentor engineers and help set team standards for safe AI usage, review and knowledge sharing

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of software engineering experience with an extensive commercial background in C#/.NET and production experience with Angular or React
• At least one production-grade system designed, shipped and supported that can be discussed in detail
• Daily hands-on experience with AI coding tools and willingness to work in an agentic delivery model
• Experience managing client-facing delivery, explaining trade-offs and delivering difficult messages early
• Experience in financial services; Commercial Real Estate or Credit Markets experience is a strong advantage
• Excellent written and spoken communication, comfort in an Agile team across time zones, and independence with high discipline
