About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead a team of Sales Representatives in Klerksdorp. The role focuses on growing our brand portfolio across multiple channels, driving brand awareness and consumer demand in line with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee sales, promotions and campaigns within the assigned area.
  • Develop and monitor quarterly sales plans and trade strategies.
  • Analyze market data to identify growth opportunities and allocate resources.
  • Ensure product availability, accessibility and affordability across the sales territory.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication.
  • Coach and train Sales Consultants on best‑practice selling techniques.
  • Prepare sales budgets, forecasts and approve related expenditures.
  • Track, analyse and report on sales performance using key quantitative metrics.
  • Conduct in‑trade audits and on‑the‑job training to improve team impact.
  • Lead hiring, onboarding and performance management of new sales representatives.

Required profile

  • Tertiary qualification (diploma or degree) in Sales, Marketing or a related field – preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the alcoholic beverage or broader FMCG sector.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong numerical and business acumen with the ability to make data‑informed decisions.
  • High energy, persistence, sense of urgency and excellent communication skills.
