About the role
Our client, a picturesque lodge in the Western Cape, is seeking a professional and organised Reservationist/Admin Coordinator. The role combines front‑office reservation management with daily administrative support to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Manage all lodge reservations, including bookings, amendments, cancellations and guest check‑ins/check‑outs.
- Respond promptly to guest enquiries via email and telephone, preparing confirmations, invoices and correspondence.
- Maintain accurate booking records, occupancy schedules and liaise with travel agents, tour operators and online platforms.
- Perform daily office duties such as filing, reporting, stock control, supplier coordination and purchase requests.
- Process payments, reconciliations and support management with scheduling and operational planning.
- Address guest queries and complaints, and facilitate communication between housekeeping, maintenance, kitchen and management teams.
Required profile
- Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
- Previous experience in hospitality reservations, front office or lodge administration.
- Strong organisational and time‑management abilities with the capacity to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable personal transport.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience using reservation software or booking systems.
