About the role
We are looking for a friendly and professional Remote Receptionist to be the virtual front‑desk of our organisation. In this fully remote position you will be the first point of contact for callers and video visitors, ensuring every interaction reflects our brand’s professionalism.
Key responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming calls and emails courteously.
- Schedule, confirm and manage appointments, meetings and calls for the team.
- Maintain and monitor shared inboxes, routing correspondence to the appropriate departments.
- Greet virtual visitors via video‑call platforms and assist with their needs.
- Keep contact lists, calendars and administrative records up to date.
- Perform general administrative tasks and data entry as required.
Required profile
- At least 1 year of experience in a receptionist or front‑desk role (virtual or on‑site).
- Friendly, professional telephone manner with strong communication skills.
- Reliable home office with stable internet connection and a presentable appearance for video calls.
- Matric certificate.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace.
- Experience with scheduling tools such as Calendly or Google Calendar.
