Process Technician I – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

Sasol is seeking a Process Technician I to support the installation, maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of critical manufacturing systems at its Secunda operations. The role contributes directly to the safe and efficient production of value‑adding chemical and energy products.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, calibrate and troubleshoot complex process equipment and critical systems.
• Ensure work meets quality, quantity and deadline standards while adhering to safety and compliance requirements.
• Perform basic processing, data collection and reporting activities.
• Monitor and control costs, resource utilization and budget adherence.
• Plan, organise and report on own workload to meet performance targets.
• Resolve technical obstacles quickly and develop practical technical proposals.
• Build effective relationships with customers, managers and multidisciplinary project teams.
