Platform / Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Platform / Cloud Engineer with strong Kubernetes, AWS and DevOps expertise to design, build and maintain modern cloud platforms. The role focuses on containerised workloads, automation, CI/CD pipelines and reliability‑focused engineering practices.

Key responsibilities

• Build and support applications running on AWS and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Administer Kubernetes clusters, including ingress, networking and RBAC.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
• Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code with Terraform, CloudFormation or related technologies.
• Support GitOps workflows using ArgoCD, Flux, Helm or Kustomize.
• Enhance monitoring, observability and alerting across cloud‑native environments.
• Define and track SLI, SLO and SLA metrics.
• Participate in release management, deployment oversight and incident response.
• Contribute to SRE practices, automation and reliability improvements.
• Build platform APIs, automation tooling and internal developer platforms as needed.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services (EKS, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, Fargate, Lambda, CloudFront).
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and containerisation.
• Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or equivalents).
• Solid background in Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Crossplane).
• Familiarity with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
• Experience with monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
• Linux administration skills and understanding of distributed systems.
• Programming or scripting ability in Python, Go, Java or JavaScript.
