Overnight Manager

About the role

Meijer is seeking an Overnight Manager to lead a team of associates during night shifts. You will be responsible for driving engagement, coaching, and performance while ensuring operational excellence and a safe store environment.

Key responsibilities

• Engage team members in onboarding, training, development, and coaching.
• Identify talent, support career discussions, and maintain a diversified talent pipeline.
• Oversee area operations, financial results, shrink, productivity, safety, scheduling, and staffing forecasts.
• Implement process improvements and uphold Meijer culture.
• Resolve team member and customer conflicts and ensure compliance with safety and store policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of retail/grocery or customer‑service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, and safety‑focused mindset.
