Front of House Manager – Luxury Hospitality & Boutique Accommodation

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Front of House Manager to lead the guest experience at an exclusive luxury cabin and villa property in the Stellenbosch winelands. The role combines hospitality, accommodation, and food & beverage oversight in a boutique setting.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage check‑ins and check‑outs, and act as the primary host throughout their stay.
• Oversee all food and beverage services, including breakfast, light dining, in‑villa catering and private tasting experiences.
• Conduct daily walkthroughs of cabins and villas to ensure immaculate presentation, cleanliness and maintenance.
• Lead, train and motivate a small hands‑on team covering front‑of‑house, housekeeping and service.
• Handle reservations, guest communications, supplier orders, stock control and basic daily reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in both Food & Beverage and luxury boutique accommodation.
• Willingness to roll up sleeves and assist across all operational areas.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a natural flair for high‑end guest hosting.
• Meticulous attention to detail, strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities under pressure.
• Valid driver’s licence, own reliable transport and residence in or near Stellenbosch.
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and evenings as required.
