Early Years Practitioner

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to join our nursery and pre‑school in East London. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will help create a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment where children can learn through play.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate educational activities that support holistic development.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive setting and uphold safeguarding, health and safety standards.
• Provide individualized care and support to promote each child’s growth.
• Collaborate with fellow staff members to ensure cohesive programme delivery.
• Communicate regularly with parents, sharing updates on children’s progress.

Required profile

• Experience in early childhood education, child development or caregiving.
• Relevant qualification such as CACHE Level 3 or equivalent.
• A nurturing, patient and empathetic approach with a genuine passion for working with children.
• Experience with diverse or multicultural groups is advantageous.

Required skills

• Ability to plan and deliver creative, engaging educational activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with children, parents and colleagues.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety practices in childcare settings.
