About the role
We are seeking a diligent Conveyancing Secretary to support a well‑established law firm in Pretoria East. The role focuses on managing conveyancing files and coordinating bond registrations for clients.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and file conveyancing documents in accordance with legal requirements.
- Coordinate bond registration processes with major banks.
- Liaise with clients, attorneys, and financial institutions to ensure smooth transaction flow.
- Maintain accurate client records and update case files.
- Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with statutory timelines.
Required profile
- Matric qualification.
- Minimum three years’ experience as a conveyancing secretary in a law firm.
- Proven experience handling bond registrations for a major bank.
- Strong communication skills in Afrikaans and English.
- Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle (beneficial).
