Accountant – Finance Team (Centurion, South Africa)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Accountant to join a well‑established, growth‑focused finance team in Centurion. This position is ideal for a recent graduate who has completed articles or gained solid accounting experience and is ready to take the next step in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial records and reports.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and perform reconciliations.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including journals, accruals, and adjustments.
• Support financial controls and ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Collaborate with the finance team to identify and implement efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• BCom degree in Accounting.
• SAIPA/SAICA articles completed or in progress, or CIMA qualification (working towards).
• 1–2 years post‑article experience or 3+ years relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
