Virtual Assistant & Communications Coordinator (US Healthcare) – EST Hours

About the role

This fully remote position supports U.S.-based healthcare clients during EST business hours. The Virtual Assistant & Communications Coordinator will handle patient communications, refine AI‑generated messages, and assist with administrative tasks while ensuring high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Send messages and reminders to patients.
• Review and edit AI‑generated communications for tone and accuracy.
• Create and update support documents and patient information.
• Gather detailed information for complex queries and route them to the appropriate team members.
• Collaborate with the team to streamline messaging processes.
• Organise data and generate reports for evidence‑gathering.

Required profile

• 6 months to 1 year experience in the U.S. healthcare sector (EHR or healthcare administration preferred).
• Excellent English communication skills, capable of handling sensitive conversations.
• Empathetic, detail‑oriented, and proactive problem‑solver.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced remote environment.
• Reliable internet (minimum 25 Mbps fiber) and power backup to manage load‑shedding.
