About the role

We are looking for a motivated Trainee Manager to join our TimberCity retail branch in Gauteng. The role is designed to develop you into the future Branch Manager, giving you hands‑on experience across all core functions of a retail outlet.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the company’s strategic plans at the branch level.
• Drive business targets and profitability through growth and margin management.
• Monitor legislative compliance and uphold corporate governance standards.
• Ensure high‑quality customer service and promote the company’s values and culture.
• Oversee stock procurement and maintain effective inventory control.
• Identify and implement proactive managerial interventions to improve performance.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• Basic knowledge of hardware and some supervisory experience.
• Retail‑related qualification is advantageous.
• Intermediate computer literacy.
