Technical Platform & Infrastructure Lead – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Platform & Infrastructure Lead to own the design, scalability, and operational performance of AI‑enabled platforms. This remote, fixed‑term contract role will work closely with product, operations, and delivery teams to ensure the technical ecosystem is secure, reliable, and ready for growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead platform and infrastructure planning for AI‑enabled systems.
• Support scalability, reliability, and overall operational performance.
• Advise on cloud infrastructure, integrations, and technical environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define platform requirements.
• Evaluate technical risks, dependencies, and scalability considerations.
• Establish best practices for platform management and resilience.
• Drive system optimisation, automation, and infrastructure improvements.
• Provide troubleshooting and technical problem‑solving as needed.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on infrastructure and platform engineering experience.
• Experience working in modern cloud‑based environments.
• Exposure to AI‑enabled products, systems, or workflows.
• Deep understanding of scalability, integration, and operational resilience.
• Practical, technically credible, and comfortable across cloud, architecture, and operational workflows.
