Talent Acquisition Officer

About the role

Mediclinic is seeking a Talent Acquisition Officer to lead sourcing and requisition management for its growing healthcare network. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality candidate lists, building talent pools and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience that positions Mediclinic as an employer of choice.

Key responsibilities

• Manage job requisitions end‑to‑end, sourcing the best talent and presenting qualified candidate shortlists.
• Proactively build, refresh and maintain talent pools in line with the sourcing strategy and divisional needs.
• Develop and nurture relationships with internal hiring managers and external partners to support current and future hiring demands.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or a related qualification (e.g., APSS Recruitment Certificate).
• Minimum 2–3 years of recruitment or sourcing experience in an agency or in‑house environment; preferably 5 years with exposure to local and international hiring.
• Prior recruitment experience within the healthcare sector is essential.

Required skills

• Knowledge of candidate/employee experience and employer branding (EVP principles).
• Competency‑based interviewing techniques.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and recruitment systems, including ATS and data warehousing.
• Familiarity with recruitment channels such as social media, recruitment metrics and relevant legislative requirements.
