Syspro e.net Consultant – Senior Developer

About the role

We are seeking a senior Syspro e.net Consultant to design, develop and deliver custom e.net applications and integrations that address real customer challenges on the Syspro platform. The role will lead complex development engagements from scope and estimation through build, test, deployment and post‑go‑live support, while serving as the senior technical point of contact for customers, partners and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop custom e.net applications that extend core Syspro functionality without duplicating existing features.
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of development projects, including requirements analysis, solution design, coding, testing, deployment and support.
• Provide expert technical support and consulting on e.net queries for customers across Africa, both remotely and on‑site.
• Present e.net capabilities and tailored demonstrations to existing and prospective customers.
• Contribute feasibility input during pre‑sales phases and advise on optimal use of e.net solutions.
• Estimate effort, prepare quotes and identify risks for development projects.
• Log business object defects, propose enhancements and ensure adherence to Syspro development standards.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews and act as escalation point for complex issues.

Required profile

• Senior certificate or NQF 4 equivalent; relevant IT or Computer Science qualification is a plus.
• 5–8+ years of Syspro e.net development experience using the integration layer and business objects.
• Proven track record delivering complete e.net solutions in a consulting or customer‑facing environment.
• Experience mentoring junior developers and leading technical engagements.
• Strong understanding of ERP business processes (finance, distribution, manufacturing) and project‑management fundamentals.
