About the role
Our client seeks a young Civil Technician to work in a structural engineering environment for their Durbanville or Paarl office. The role involves drafting, design and support of infrastructure projects using industry‑standard software.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and design structural elements using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Plan, design, draft and supervise infrastructure projects.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Provide project support throughout all project phases.
Required profile
- Civil Technician proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
- 5–10 years of experience in structural engineering.
- National Diploma in Civil Engineering or NQF Level 5‑6 in draughting.
- Strong computer literacy and technical drawing skills.
- Knowledge of building standards and structural concrete/steel design.
